Horrible...look....of...forum

Hi all.
I'm having a problem of my forum, where it looks perfectly fine from the FF browser, but with IE or Opera it looks terrible. For instance, with Opera, there is a lot of blue space at the top of the forum, and you have to scroll way down the page before you can see the index, and the different forums.

Why does this happen??

At the moment, am using IE, and your forum looks fine to me,

Ok, actually i haven't tested it from IE myself, but one of my moderators reported it messing up in IE (until he turned on "compatible mode"). I tested it from Opera, and it definitely looks fcked up.

Well, nice to hear it looks good from some browsers at least.

Well, that didn't turn out so good...
It chopped off the parts of the images that mattered.
The part I wanted everyone to see was the blue space at the top of the page in Opera.
