Outbox Empty Outbox

I just cleared a load of messages in my pm outbox which were welcome messages to new users. my question is if you delete messages in the outbox are they still in the recipient's inbox or is it no longer their because i deleted my end before they read it. if that makes sense!

the deleted messages will be gone on your messages box and there''s no way to recover them.

thanks for the fast reply. but will the receiver still get the message if i cleared it from my outbox? i am presuming this is the case?
