Re: Still timeout
it works fine for me,
it is either
1, cookies not being allowed = check cookie settings
2, firewall permissions = check firewall is allowing connection
3, router/wireless permissions = check the ports are ok, go to portforward here if needed, have make & model noted.

Re: Still timeout
ahh,
look in your zones, see if the forum's url is in the "Blocked Sites", if so remove it & add it to the "Trusted Sites"
PC control pnael > internet options > security tab... there you see the 4 zones, also check your pop-up stopper section...
control panel > internet options > privacy tab... settings button

Re: Still timeout
I found when there is NOT a server issuse with forumotions server and i still time out..what I do is delete all cookies and files and reboot my computer and it seems to work and get me back there quickly..Just thought I'd throw that out there as a possibility to rectify that situation.

Re: Still timeout
if it's only the forums, if you can surf the web ok, im wondering,
are you both in internet explorer?
have you cleared you cache (CTRL+F5) and cookies?
you can also try flushing the DNS cache, to see how to do this,
