Turn off mods ability to check IP's ??

Is it possible for me to turn off permission to mods, so they cant check users IP adress????

is there any way to do this or not?

no theres not a way to do that in the acp,
if you dont trust your mod's not to look at IP's then they shouldnt be mods if you think they are hackers.
if an IP changes like on DSL then its pointless looking at them anyway

my mods are cool, but i just thought it might be a bit safer or whatever you know

u can hide IP's icon in styles admin

In Admin Panel < Styles Admin > List of the pictures > "Buttons" tab, On the right hand side, you have checkboxes you can tick to hide buttons. You just tick the one next to the IP button.

But take notice that you won't have the IP button either, so if one day, you need to verify a member's IP, you won't be able to do it.
