Contacts won't show up

Hello Forum, I have a problem. My Contacts won't show up on a post. It should have a button where you can pm that person but it just doesn't show up. Yes I have it turned on so it appears in posts, and yet it won't. What am I doing wrong?

do you have a image for it in your pic's management?

admin panel>display>pictures and colors>pic's management>advanced mode>buttons

scroll down the list and make sure you have a image for private messages.
Also be sure it's not hidden .If it was clicked on hidden you will have to upload another image to put there.And of course if one is not there then you will have to add one.

Yes, there are images on them and their not hidden. Is there maybe something I can press to make them show up? The forum version is phpbb 2.
