I gave to permission to some ppl to be mod in some place, but not all. But they can be mod every where.
They can even see the hiden message in the threads they are not mod. How can I do?
Any suggestion plz? thanks

are they in a group that has mod status or do they have mod status outside of a group?

If in group, Double check everything

if alone, try to create a new topic and try to get them mod status agn or

You can create groups for those people individually or together.. and change that group's permission in the manage forums directory to allow/disallow moderation

This is better than putting them all in the moderator group..

Thank for your reply, but I still do not understand what you mean.

I created the group in Group Administration.

I gave them the permission to be a mod in News and Gossip ect..
But they can be mod every where in the forum

hmmmm ok try this

Admin Panel > User Administration > User Admin >

Choose the person you want to give moderation power to...

Go to his/her permissions.. and just check off the forums you want to give him/her the mod powers...

If that doesn't work.. un check it all and use the groups =/ You can edit and changed Group Permissions for a particular forum via the Forum Tab
