Adding another admin Empty Adding another admin

Post by vichul March 2nd 2010, 2:43 pm

I'm getting busy lately and plan to add another user as admin to help me out.
However, I'm afraid he/she might mess up my forum or delete me from my own forum.

My question is, if he/she really kick me out or mess up my forum, what actions can I take?

First, you need someone you trust. A co-administrator can be a great help or a great disaster. Choose very carefully.

Second, you are the founder and nobody can delete you or demote you. It is only you who can modify the founder account: even if there are other admins on your forum, they do not have the powers to change the founder account. So, you are safe on this matter.

Again, be very careful how you choose.

Then, may I ask.. What are the powers of the co-admin? What are the sections of the admin panel he/she can touch and what are the sections he/she can't?
