User's permissions
I don't know how to set that my members cannot delete their own messages.
When I create a forum I give them only rights to view, right or edit their own messages, but when I go to my panel to see the general permissions for each forum, that option for deleting post is greened for members.
So now I don't know if they can delete their posts or not?!
Any helpful advice?

Re: User's permissions
Normally if in the permission the Delete field is ticked they should be able to delete their posts though

Re: User's permissions
If you can please write me the exact pathway to view those permissions (about deleting and editing post) and uncheck it, cause I simply cannot find it.
Re: User's permissions
As I was perfectly sure that I didn't give them permission to delete their own messages when I created specific forums, but they still could do that, I started to look for a solution and I have found out few minutes ago what was the problem.
We have two options: to create a forum, and to create a category.
I have created few forums without creating a category for which those forums will be attached.
Then I created a category for those forums, attached those forums for the category and only than I could find those specific permission, which I must assign to whole category in order to prevent my users to delete their messages in forums that belongs to that category.
My conclusion is next:
If I have a forum without a category I cannot manage that forum as I want, but if I have both, category and forum attached to that category I can manage permmisions as I want.
Am I right, or am I wrond?
P.S. Sorry about this long message but it can be helpfull for someone .

Re: User's permissions
Normally youshould be able to manag your forum as wanted though
The prblem might coe from the cateogry's old permissions, as they tend to override the forum's permissions
