Private messages deletion help

Basically. After a huge issue with a hacker. His final move was sending a PM to all users who have been active within the year of my forum/site. I didn't want people seeing that PM. So i rushed to do the best i could and disabled the PM system so no one could have access to it. But i want it back, so we could easily PM a user for whatever reason instead of having to go through adding him on a messenger, sending an email he'll probably never read or looking for him on another site. How do i delete a pm for all users, or ALL the pms if i need to for all users so that i put the private messaging system back.

There is no way to delete all the PM's at once. You can send a newsletter to all but most might not read.

At once? So you mean there's a possible way to do this one by one? Because if so, then i could try that. I don't have that many users nor many ACTIVE users. So this shouldn't be too much of a hassle.

What you can do is change that users' password ( Via his profile in the admin panel ) and log into his account and delete the PM's that are in the OUT box.
