For this you can use simple HTML.
Here is the code you need to use:
For the font to work you must have the font on your computer.

Jamie.

Hmm ok, I'll try it out..i guess it also has to be a font everyone in inernetland has too, so i'll just use tahoma or verdana thanks!
Re: How do I Edit the Forum's Descritpion
Yes, it is best to stick with the fonts already on your computer. If you want to use a font you've installed then you will need to make sure that all of your members also have the font installed.
Please tell me if it works, it would be good to know.
Thanks,
Jamie.

I tried a few diff codes still no luck... wonder if there's a way of doing it from the CSS.
Re: How do I Edit the Forum's Descritpion
Did you also try putting, for example, "red" or "green"?
There is probably a way to do it with CSS but I wouldn't know what to do with that, however, a moderator might.

Sorry, I'm not sure what to then. That's all I can think of with HTML. However, if you contact a moderator they may be able to help.

Hello,
Can you inform us what isn't working?
Is the colour not working, or is the font face not changing?

ok?
Are both the test and real forums phpbb2?
the code should work try this way
This should work, if it doesn't, you'll need to convert the tags so you can use this one.

Re: How do I Edit the Forum's Descritpion
Well just checked, guess they are both phpbb2s.
Hmm, that only changed the font too... I used the 1st one and it automatically changes it back to that 2nd code you got there...
tthe one thing thats different between the test forum and the official is my custom CSS, i mean i just edited it around a bit, added some extra codes...would that be the problem? that s weird how it wont change the color

Thanks
To fix this, please remove the font tags that you have added in forum description. Now, go to Admin CP > Display > Colors > CSS
Add this code there and submit..
Hope that helps

Have you added the code to your CSS and submitted it?
Also refresh the index page to see the changes. It should work.

Re: How do I Edit the Forum's Descritpion
For underlines you can use <u>...</u> tags. For blinking text you can use <blink>...</blink> tags.
<font> tags only provides color, font-face and size of text to be formatted.
