My forum appearence acting weird

hello to you all,

ok so the the situation is as follows...
I'm sort of the art guy on our forum and helps managing it too.
I noticed that the width of the forum is a bit narrow and I want it to take the entire page.
also there is sort of a picture in the title that no one put in there.

what I've tried:
- In configuration tab I made sure that the width is on a 100%. still don't work.
- I tried restoring the version of the theme from another date and it worked! BUT the problem is that after 5 minutes or so... it gets back to its old self with the narrow view and the picture in the logo.

I really don't know what could do this... so please help me,
