Meta tag problem.. HALP !!! Empty Meta tag problem.. HALP !!!

I have this meta tag <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-2"> and i insert it ..
and results is <meta name="Content-Type" content="text/html;charset=iso-8859-2" />

how to take out the name and put the http-equiv instead of name..that would result dropped <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-2">
