Sending a newsletter Empty Sending a newsletter

Post by alicia April 28th 2010, 10:24 pm

Hello, can someone help me with a problem please?

Each month I send a newsletter out to all the members of my forum as some of them find it difficult to keep up to date due to illness.

I have 20 members and I always select 'all members' from the options to send the NL.

However every month there are some members who do not receive it and it is not always the same members. I then have to e mail the newsletter separately to those who have not received it via the forum.

Can anyone suggest why this might be happening?

Thank you, Alicia

When your users register if they have checked no on "Reccive Newsletter" they will not reccive it. Tell them to go into there profile and change it to yes thumright

I have just checked the profile of one of the members who did not receive this month's and she has the 'receive newsletter' option set to 'yes' and yet she does not receive it.

I am very puzzled and disappointed with this as the newsletter is a lifeline to my more poorly members.

I can send it out individually via e mail but I like the idea of the mass mailing via the forum. It is much less work for me.
