automatic thread updates on forum
Hi,
I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this question.
Is there a way to have thread updates viewable automatically on a forum homepage? Say, I posted a new topic then something like this would appear on my forum homepage:
"New thread created - [Title on thread]" by emg 2 minutes ago
Something like that.. hope someone can help me out! Thanks!

Re: automatic thread updates on forum
The recent topics widget would do this. Go to Admin CP>modules>portal>structure>drag and drop recent topics to desired column.
that is if you are using portal for home page.
if you don't use portal there is a way to use widgets on forum index,
Admin cp>modules>forum widgets>select display>set desired column widths>drag and drop recent topics to desired column.
hope this is of some use to ya.
