Problems with Signatures
Hello there,
We are currently experiencing a problem when accessing Signature under Profile. When we click on the Signature tab in Profile this is all that we get:
Template->make_filename(): Error - file posting_sig.tpl does not exist
Is anyone else experiencing this problem? We have users using IE as well as Firefox, and both are experiencing the same problem. The version that we are using is Invision.

Re: Problems with Signatures
No, I'm not having that problem. It is most likely a CSS problem. I would normally say that it is a template problem, but since you're using Invision, you can't do anything about it. Try changing your theme of your forum to something else and see what happens.
Re: Problems with Signatures
Techguy, are you suggesting that I change version from invision, or just change the skin?

Re: Problems with Signatures
Hi techguy, same result after a change of skin I am afraid, so looks like it might be invision?

Re: Problems with Signatures
Try changing the forum version. See what happens. I kind of forgot that I can't see the signature editor unless I have an account.
Re: Problems with Signatures
Register, and I will activate it right away

Re: Problems with Signatures
Sure. I need you to change your forum type to either PHPBB2 or PunBB

Re: Problems with Signatures
Yes it has. I will inform you that I am about to change your forum type.
Re: Problems with Signatures
I see that there is nothing in CSS anyway.

Re: Problems with Signatures
Correct, and that is fine. I am not seeing the template editing panel, which is what I need to see, considering the fact that your problem takes place in the templates portion of the panel.
Update: Unfortunately, only the owner of the forum can edit the templates, so I will have to leave this part up to you. I am still gathering more information -- please wait.

Re: Problems with Signatures
Ok, here is what you do:
Follow this exacaly:
Go to ACP > Display > [Find "Templates" on the side bar] > Click "Profile", under "Templates" > Where you see "profile_edit_signature", add in the following code OVER THE LAST ONE
I have to go, but I will be back to assist you later. Let me know the results.

Re: Problems with Signatures
I do not have "profile_edit_signature", all I get is "Only templates of phpbb2 or PunBB versions will be affected."

I see that it says, under Status on the Templates, for Profile, "profile_edit_signature", "Waiting"

Thanks techguy, it is getting rather late here in South Africa. I will try and stay around, but if I have gone to bed, please leave messages, and I will read them in the morning, and then catch up with you again tomorrow evening (our time) which will be around the same time for you as today, if that is all right with you?
Thanks for everything so far, you are a star.
