Images in posts maximum size

I'm sure that there is somewhere the answer and i'm also sure that i've seen somewhere the option itn the admin panel but i cant remember.. So..

How can i change the maximum size and pixel limit for pictures in a post..???

When an image has a too high resolution, it gets truncated.
It adapts itself at your screen's resolution.

oh.. that's good... But doesnt the size (in kb's) makes some pc's go really slow? (if they are old)

yes it could slow the machine, but only for heavy images (over 1 or 2 mb)

How does one put a photo/image into a post? I've tried but failed each time and my forum members are asking me how to do it. My forum doesn't seem to have an 'Insert Image' option.

this is the code... The forum can upload only images from urls so if you have any images on your computer that you want to post you have to upload them first.. you can use www.imageshack.us
