Watched Topics - Can They Be Shut Off Globally?

My forum is an Invision forum.

A member has asked me if I can shut off topic watching globally, as she was getting an email every time there was a new post made at the forum until she shut it off in her profile, and she fears it will put people off.

Is there a way of shutting it off globally or making it NOT the default? I can't find it in the admin panel and have looked through a few times.

Always notify me of replies :No
Save.

Also go & delete all the topics that were being watched from
Profile>Topics Being Watched

I just had a pm from the same user saying she has already checked "No" in her preferences page, but she's still getting emails.

Is there no way I can change the default setting for the whole forum? I think getting email notifications is something people would rather opt into than out of.

Have the member check their Profile/Topic(s) Being Watching.

It's an individual user thing, Your users should be able to choose this as they register or edit their profile though...

You cannot make it default. Ask that user to delete the topics that are already added as i mentioned in my previous post.
