How to decrease the size of xat chat box to 180 px n change the background?

To change the background picture click on the [Change Background] button. You can choose a stock image from the selection shown or get a custom one using a number of different techniques. Chat boxes that have custom image look so much better and are usually much more popular. In the Background edit box you can:

~Enter a link e.g. an image you have uploaded to Photobucket, press the Get Images button to use the image specified as a background.
~Enter a website and press the Get Images button, this would get all the images from the page for you to choose one to use as a background.
~Enter a search term for what you want as your background e.g. shark, city, emo and press the Get Images button. The Chat box will show a number of related images for you to choose from.

yeah they have all the settings there upon your chat creation,
Um they have a option for custom dimensions as well.

or you can always change it your self right in the code.

no why?

the options are right on the xat page when you create your chat box.
he may have to re-size the image for what ever dimensions he is trying to get.
But xat will usually automatically fit images in.. it depends what kind of background and what size box he is using.

But would only be a matter of resizing the image until he is happy with how it fits.

you can do it right in the code.

you can just keep hitting update/get code until you have it the size you want.

i want to fix the chat into column-3(180 px). i want the size to be 180x240 but when i press change size it is turning into 400x300 what to do?
and i want transparent background

change the size your self in the code.
I have it marked out where you would change it.

As far as transparent i am not sure if you can get it that way.
what I'll do is create an invisible/transparent background image and see if it works.

the image i created works. of course you cant see it because it's invisible/transparent... lol
if you hold down the left click and drag to the top left of the page from the link below, you will see the image highlight in blue.. so thats the image link below

So to add it to your chat
you have to click on (click for more or use own) box.
then add the link above in (Enter a search term or URL here and press the button)
and click get images.
Now that will lace the image at the top left of the screen. so click on what will appear to be a white box, then thats your transparent back ground.. so your whole chat will appear to be white on that page.

then as far as the dimensions 180 by 240 is going to be to small, you want be able to see all the features so you will have to resizing it the smallest you can but still see all the options on the chat box.

how to edit already existing widget?
and how to remove visitors option?

Its a third party chatbox, you should ask with their helpsite if there is any.
Moreover, i don't think its possible to remove that visitors thing.

Nope, you can't do that.

if you mean add forumotions chat box to a forumotion widget? then yes.
But you will have to have it top center or bottom center because you will not be able to re-size it corrector to see everything if you add to a side widget,

i would have to test to make sure though.

well may be at the very bottom of it with the forumotion chat code inserted at the bottom of the xat code, but that would have to be tested to and i really do not see the point.

As far as xat visor thing, may be if you pay for premium features but still unsure.
