Users/post database request

Hi, sorry if im posting in the wrong section, the other dint have anything related to database copy's request's so i decided to post it here, anyways, i was wondering who i would need to contact in order to request a users/post database dump/backup so that i can transfer it to a new forum.

Also i check the admin panel but there no option to actually backup the database to my pc directly.

I don't think that ForuMotion transfer databases to other forums.

Its not a tranfer, i need a copy of my users/post database sql file, thats all.

We do not have access to the database.

Yes we don't, if we would i wouldn't be posting here lol, but the Admins do have access to all the forums database's.

Yet you can't get it because Forumotion owns it.

Correct they own all of this ur 100% right, but im sure they can give the sql files its not like there giving away there server config files or anything like that.

Forumotion does not give any files. There is nothing we can do. Its company policies.

i know this is a bit off topic but do you get paid for your work on this forum?

but it's a company right? so they have staff members who don't get paid. :s

Hi, us ForuMotion support staff do not get paid for our work. We work voluntarily to give you guys support.

Only technicians and pro team members, who are based in France at the ForumActif HQ, are paid I think.

The answer has been given and there is no need to keep this topic open. Databases will not be given out to anyone.
