I am becoming confused with user Diego on my forum:

http://leagueofcaptains.foroes.org/u83

He was posting normally, then someone hacked the account. I changed the password and sent it to the email address listed with his account. Didn't work. Changed the password again, this time without notification. Didn't work.

What can cause something like this? I'm baffled and need some answers.

Apparently, the same guy hacked his Skype 14 months ago and sent at least one person a file supposing to be a clan website (hmm...viruses perhaps?).

Any advice?

The person that hacked the account could have changed the account's email address.

This is what I would do:

Send a email to the member and tell him/her to start a new thread in a specific place. Check to see if the IP address of the new thread is the same as other posts by this member. If someone hacked an account, the IP address should be different because IP addresses are created by your computer not websites. Then you can ban the IP address of the hacker.

The email is correct.

Actually, we're figuring it out now. It might be the cousin of the guy in San Antonio, Texas!

Yeah but you can easily change your IP.
A cracker could easily avoid that ban.
