guest url links won't show

I need help. My forum's advertisement section is guest friendly, but when guests post direct url links, it won't show up. The settings in the admin panel are all fine (ie. Guests are able to see and post links)

When the format is as such: http://rpg-haven.forumotion.com = it won't show

When the format is: rpg-haven.forumotion.com = will show..


that means, url links without http are showing, but those with http aren't. Some advertisements always put http with their link to their forum, but since it's not showing, I want this to be fixed asap.

PLEASE help.. I know it's minor, but it's driving me crazy.

I just tried to post a link to me forum. I tried different ways to enter my forum's address, and all of them do not show.

So, is this something to do with forumotion itself then?

i tryed to check it out, and i cant find any modification that enable's guest's to post url's.

I have been having this problem as well. I hope to learn soon if there is a solution. I often do advertising in other forums as guests and they condition it (fairly expect) to be able to do the same at mines.

The only way I have seen guest have been able to get away with it was posting the link into an image. But that was several weeks ago, and I don't know if it still stands.

For now I am letting them use disposable accounts just to post their stuff. I suppose this was done to help prevent more spam by bot acccounts.

I would like to know if this is temporal or permanent measurement.
