Go to teh topic you want and edit the first post of the topic(or make a new topic). Bellow the box where you add the actual text you should see a tab called Options and a "+" button on the right side of it. Click the "+" button and it will expand. From there you can select the type of topic you want it to be: Normal, Announcement or Sticky.

When you post a new topic ( thread ) see the "Options" under the text box.
change the " Post topic as " to sticky

Wow, talk about a really old topic. Smile

Have you taken a look at this topic: https://help.forumotion.com/t3339-stickies-and-announcements

...also, do you have the permissions to create a sticky?

Hi,

Could we please get a screenshot of the 'Options' panel please.
You should see the text "Post topic as", however, after seeing the screenshot we can further diagnose the issue Wink
