html in amin panel not working

On the forum title section and the forum announcement bit wont let me use html to change the letters ect any help please

Do you mean your post title? if so you can use html for post/thread titles,

then as far as the announcement, you mean post announcements/stickies

Then one again you can not use html for the title but can add it to the post subject board, however you must have the forums html enabled first.

admin panel>general>messages and emails>configurations

scroll down to allow html and hit save.

Now go back on the forum to the index, and click on your profile>profile preferences.

select allow html and hit save.

If thats not what you mean you will have to explain more or provide any links or screen shots you can.

hi sorry mean in the admin panel where you can add a forum tittle and a forum announcement where it scrolls across the top of the homepage. I can write in the bx but the html option is not allowing me to alter font colour ect
