Can u add font colors to message body
Is it possible somewhere to add more font color selections to the message body tags?
When selecting font colors there are only 14 colors available. Is it possible to add more colors? Such as the selection available for the chatbox?

You can add any color to a message tag, provided you know it's name
There are two ways of getting a color:
> Some colors have names
=> ex red, blue, cyan etc
> Using hex codes, which is simply a six letter/number code
Use this link, it has all the named colors and can give them in hex codes to

Thanks so much Caihlem!
That site is GREAT
But I noticed that first color, the purplish one, which is called [color:1d35=Blue-Violet]Blue-Violet didn't work when I typed out the color name. Probably because it doesn't recognize the - I would assume. It adds some numbers to it that I didn't type. This is the code that I used.
I appreciate your help! And I didn't even misspell your name? hehehe
I understand that problem. My maiden name was a German name, and no one could spell it. Now I have a Swedish last name, and when we were living in the USA, no one could spell my swedish husbands full name either. We got used to it too. All you can do is laugh!
My maiden german name was Eisaman, so we used to tell ppl to write out "he is a man" without the H! lol It worked!
Thanks again for the link!

Wait a min, I found in another spot on the webpage they didn't use the dash.
Blue-Violet, There we go! It works now. I wonder why they included the dash in the first place? lol

What is your problem Raph?
Caihlem, can we post html color codes as well? If so how would we do it. Here is an example of the code. It will create a rainbow effect colored font.

Re: Can u add font colors to message body
To post in HTML, it's a little bit different
HTML works, under the condition it's recognised and accepted, to do that:
> Admin Panel => Users & Groups=> User Settings => Allow HTML
> NavBar => Profile => Preferences => Allow HTML
>In the post, make sur the Disallow HTML isn't ticked
Then all HTML should work
Raph: Try HTML for the topic title

Re: Can u add font colors to message body
Oh that's right I should have known that. I remember that the default is to not allow HTML. And all of the forums where I am an admin or mod does not allow them. Which leads me to another question.
Is there a security risk for allowing HTML? I mean there has to be a reason behind why most forums do not allow it. But I just cannot recall the reasoning behind it. Do you know, Caihlem?
