Private Chatbox

I realize that a topic has already been made for this. I didn't quite find what I needed there. If I were to want to have a private discussion with the moderators of my forum, (or something along those lines) how would I get a chatbox like that? Is it possible to use FMChat just for moderators or users with special permissions?

No sorry you can not put a FM chat box for only staff once the chat box is put on your forum it will come up at the bottom of your forum

But putting a free chat room from some other host will work just fine
Google free shout box or a Free chat room i my self use http://yeechat.com/ a good fast chat site that is 100% free ok you have to pay for a chat room that is not in there free host page but if you put it as password enter then it can not be used or seen by others but your staff with passwords.

If you have HTML enabled in your forum, you can make a private staff room and then have the chatbox embedded in there.

Here's the thing. The chatbox code is the chatbox. So if you have it enabled to display on your forum, etc. - then it's accessible by anyone.

As for yeechat, why not just use Tinychat? It's way more secure and stable.
