Forum's private messages module not working anymore
Hello,
Since about a week we can't use the private messages anymore on the forum. I click on the link in the menu but nothing shows, no PM interface. And after checking the source code of the page it seems nothing related to the PMs is sent to the browser, so it's not related with the theme.
The module is activated in the admin panel so no problem here either.
The forum (phpbb2):

Re: Forum's private messages module not working anymore
Have you checked if it's enabled? If not, go to:
ACP > Advanced mode > Modules tab > Private Messages.
If enabled, attempt re-synchronizing your forum for potential bug fixes.
ACP > Advanced mode > Modules tab > Private Messages.

Re: Forum's private messages module not working anymore
Hi, seeing as you're on phpBB 2, have you modified any templates recently?
Re: Forum's private messages module not working anymore
Thanks for the answers.
Base2 yes I modified the header template like a week before the pm stopped working, but it was only some pictures related code and nothing to do with forumotion code, and I have another forum with the same template modifications and the pms are still working fine.
Will try the syncronisation thing and report.
EDIT: Darkglow I can't seem to find the re-synchronize option you are talking about, could you direct me?
EDIT2: Just reverted the template to original state, to be 100% sure it's not template related, still no pm interface.

Re: Forum's private messages module not working anymore
Ok dunno why, I deleted some private message templates modifications that were left untouched for years and worked fine until now. And now pms shows again. Funny because the same templates work just fine on the other forum.
Unless base2 made a magic trick I'm unaware of
Reverted back to the template that didn't work and it still works. Weird.
Thanks for your help anyway.

In future, please don't double post, thanks.
Indeed, I did a magic trick when you weren't looking.
