Back links not working
Hi. when members on my forum get a notification containing back links the links go to a blank forumotion page. They are missing the 'www' bit from the address. it is www.themotorhomers.co.uk
Is it me ? can I do anything? is it you ?

This type of email is received by all users when a watched post notification or a news letter is received by them.

Hello,
That's an issue with the .co.uk domain names which aren't recognized with many systems because of the double extension.
There's nothing to do to solve this issue.
Thank you !

Re: Back links not working
May be try a adding tinyurl as your forum link in the news letter .
Something at the end of the letter like.
Note
If you are experiencing blank pages by clicking the forum link in this message.
please click the following link http://tinyurl.com/bexkvpu
Tiny url site link
http://tinyurl.com/
I dont know if you want to do that?
but if there is nothing else that can be done like leeloo has said that is an option and would work.

Re: Back links not working
Hello,
We don't have this problem with Forumotion domain names, and I'm not really able to help you with external domain names...
But I guess that your friend made a redirection from the domain name with the www. to the domaine name without the www.
You need to configure it in the Configuration Panel of your registrar : www.themotorhomers.co.uk has to redirect to themotorhomers.co.uk because there's a conflict with the www. and the double extension.
