Notification for admin activation & sub forum lock

Ok, i have my forum set so that users who create accounts have to have their accounts activated by a admin

I was wondering is there a way to change the message that tells them this once they have made their account ?

secondly i cant seem to find a button/link to lock a sub forum on my forum.

Hi,

I don't think there's a way you can change the message itself. For the sub-forum locking, it'll give you an option when creating the forum itself. It'll look something like this:
