Regarding ut3-wallofshame.forumotion.com domain
I just know you guys are "heavy sighing" over the purchase of external domain names by your clients. I apologize up front for adding to your heavy sigh load.
1. I am currently setting up a forum for one of our Unreal Tournament 3 Server Administrators at a gaming site I've investing in called, Team Stealth Communities.
2. The Server Admin had an external domain that was already purchased via BlueHost and would respectfully like to use the URL here at Forumotion:
http://ut3-wallofshame.net
3. So far, I have managed to figure out how to direct the above URL (Paragraph 2.) to the forumotion page:
http://ut3-wallofshame.forumotion.com
4. I have followed the links provided by the boards Staff regarding this and have searched and read over threads and links that were in conjunction with external domain redirects made by members.
5. Is there a link that I haven't seen that will tell me how to take the .forumotion.com away AFTER the redirection has occurred?
As it is, when I put http://ut3-wallofshame.net in the browser it goes directly to the forumotion site (which is totally cool); however, in the browser it shows the below link once redirected to the website:
http://ut3-wallofshame.forumotion.com
If there's a charge to have this done, please advise.
Respectively,

General>Forum Address
Personalized domain name tab
Force the URL redirection :
Is there any option there?

Unfortunately, there isn't a Force the URL option. I only see this:
You don't have a personalized domain name for your forum. You can have one in the credits management , either you can indicate below a domain name that already belongs to you and which you have configured to use with your forum.
Domain Name :
http://
Where it says Domain Name, what I did was put this in there:
http://ut3-wallofshame.net
When I did that, I got an error.

I'll check to see if there's something similar to what I see and try from there. I believe I looked for that but we had to end up having their support team do it for us.
The place the domain was purchased from were the ones that got us this far and that took like 8 hours over a course of 2 days.
I'll check again over there.

Okay, well for different domain registrars the setup panel might be different. I have never done this personally, so i can't be of much assistance to you except providing you with the tutorial we have. Sorry.

Well...I guess you can close this thread then and I really appreciate all the help you've taken the time to give.
I have all the information I need and I'll just have to go back to the host again and figure out how to read their panel I suppose.
Okay ... well ... check ya later, I guess and have a great day
