In progress Post Editing Problem (Chrome & Opera)

Post by Glorien April 2nd 2014, 2:11 pm

i have been experiencing this for more than 4 months now. I used to use Google Chrome, now using Opera.

When i want to edit a post that has codes in it, in the editing page every code disappears. Also all lines stick to each other. Like every seperate line get together without space between them. I really have posts that I worked on so much (with codes) I just dont know what to do. I tried to edit them all over again but everything looks so complicated and also even if I add all the codes again and post it, next time i want to edit it's the same thing happens... Anyone having this problem or know how to solve?

I don't mean to flood but it looks like no one will answer. I found a topic with a similar issue. Here. Our problem is not only size code but almost all of them. No one could not find any solution for this and this happened in 2013? It's urgent since i have been dealing with it over 4 months. Seriously no one can not suggest any kind of help? Every post is messed up, i can not save any of them. It is not only the codes but texts get messed up too. Same thing was happening to signatures and than we experienced it with posts too.

Well I saw the topic but since this is the last post :

SLGray wrote:This topic deals with Internet Explorer not Chrome.  Please start a new topic for your issue.

Also I can not even check if this happens with IE because it can not open any pages and gives errors all the time.

There's no need to push by PM she'll see it when she comes Smile

@Glorian : what I meant was when we edit a post , if it contained " hi how are you? Smile " will become (after edit) "hi how are you?Smile"

Try it.

Hello,

I would suggest you to report the problem here:

Though it's specified that it is only for IE problems, you can report your problem there regarding the editor so the techs may be notified that this also appears for other browsers.

Also, there's no need to PM Buttercup unless the issue is about password/account problems, the staff will forward the issue that needs to be forwarded.

Thank you.
