Hide Section From Everyone

Hello,

I'd like to hide a certain section from everyone while browsing the forum including the admins instead of deleting it entirely.

Can it be done and if yes, how?

Create a group, then create the section and set the section's permission only for that group.

The original administrators group can see all the whole forum including hidden members, groups, widgets, and areas.

Sadly admins have to be able to view all forums. Like SLGray said the option isn't available for admins to not see forums.

This is where I'm stuck. The General -> Categories and forums -> Permissions -> Presets comboboxes only allow blank, All, Moderators and Administrators not individual user groups.

However, it has been said it's not possible anyways.

Yes, but it doesn't change anything.

Here's the screenshot:

Uncheck the member boxes and the check the ones you only want to see that area.

Like we've said admins HAVE to view every forum. There is no way to hide a forum even for admins.
