Hello @smurfavr ,
Yes if I remember rightly this will use your data total storage space it all counts as your files the best way to do this is to remove the files when not used.

If you delete files from your garbage will not disappear from the subjects in which they have attached?

Ha ha to be honest i really don't know i have not really ever used it lol i think I should test that out for you and get back to you on it

ok i have just ran a test and if the files are in your garbage files
it don't use up your total storage space and if your files are in the garbage files they have already been removed from your posts / threads so removing them will not show on the page they was last posted as the file was already removed in the first place.
