Exceeded total storage space

Hello

I am trying to upload an MP3 file to my forum - the file is 5.65MB in size but I get this error message:

Could not upload file : exceeded total storage space. (Free space : 2166)

I have checked and the storage on the forum that I have says I have 670MB free (I pay to have storage)

Any ideas as to why it won't upload please?

Hello,

Try making sure the limit per attachment in the admin panel is set to high number. I had this problem when I first enabled the attachment system on my forum, after awhile of playing around, I finally got the file size limit high enough for me to upload audio files without trouble. Just try around playing around with it and you should get it eventually.

It is referring to the size allowed for an attachment in a post.

Change it here:  AP > General > Messages & Emails > Attachments

Also you need to make sure that members and moderators are allowed a large space to upload large files.

Thank you it wasn't specifically either of those but it was adjustable in that section - the 'allowed space for attachments' wasn't adjusted correctly. So all sorted now.
