Founder issues

Hi

I have read various posts going back to something like 2013 and all point to having to have help in resolving the issue via pm.

I am an Admin on a forum and our Founder is no longer with us or answering emails of any kind. There were health issues previously so unsure whether they are just blocking this or due to the health issue they are incapable of answering (or worse!). I can see their email address in the Admin Panel but as you are aware i cannot change the email of the Founder account so i can send a password reset to my address and solve the issue.

Stuck in limbo, cannot resolve it as Founder not communicating for whatever reason and not capable to alter Founder info.

Thanks for speedy reply. Looking at the Founder Admin info they appear to be logging in, which adds to the confusion of why they catagorically refuse to reply to any email or PM to change the founder.

I guess we are going to be stuck in limbo unless he fails to log in for at least 6 months and i am already under pressure to start up a new Forum to replace this one. I have already told the office that they will lose all historical posts and info to cut loose but they are insisting on removing all inactive members, of which the Founder is one, so there are no 'leaks' of info discussed on the Forum to previous members who have started up another association in competition to ours.

Yes unfortunatelly you will have the 6 months and 1 day for the founder to be inactive before we can change the account over to you or anyone else. Sorry about this .

The founder just logging in is considered activity. Have you tried contacting the founder by creating a topic on the forum?

Good idea, I will try that and at least the other Admins can see I am trying to resolve the issue. Thanks for the help and hopefully won’t be in touch in 6 months time
