Deleting account
@Ape
I am not sure if I saw you saying this somewhere or I am just seeing things but, when I request an account deletion from some forum owner, is he obligated to do so, or he has full right to ignore my request? I tried unsubscribing from one forum by using this link: https://www.forumotion.com/unscribe
but failed to do so because of the message like username/password is incorrect (even it is correct).

Re: Deleting account
by law if you ask for an account to be deleted you have every right to do so and YES they must delete your account from the forum.
As for posts made on the forum well if it has personal information then you can ask for them posts to be removed by law also
Now if you have made lots of posts on the forum and they are in with lots of other posts then it's harder to ask for them posts to be removed and the founder has the right to say no to you as the forum posts may not look right or posts could be quoted.
So yes the law says your basic account can be removed if you ask the the founder to do so but posts don't have to be removed by law.

Re: Deleting account
Thanks for the reply. I did ask but the account was not deleted, only deactivated or deleted "fakely". Username is changed and instead of Guest, it says User, and for the rank, it doesn't say guest, but I do have regular rank. Yes, the account username in posts is unclickable. But taking in considuration that I couldn't delete my profile with URL I proved in the first post, I have strong doubts my account is not deleted.
So, to whom should I talk about this if the forum owner already ignore my request?

Re: Deleting account
if your Email address and username is not the same and you have used the link and it's not working then the account has been deleted as such.
As long as your Email address is removed and your username is removed then there is nothing linked to your account any more.
Basically the founder has already done as you have asked and closed the account.
They have done what the law tells them to do.

Re: Deleting account
How can I tell if the email is removed? I have no ability to see that now. Username is not the same, yes, but what about email?

Re: Deleting account
if you use the email address and the name linked to your account now so say it is user or guest or billy bob and use the link you have posted in your first post it will tell you if the account is still linked. if it says the account is not right then your email address is / has been removed as your account is linked to the email address.
