Making a new html site

well i have made a new html site called Music on the html site i have

ChatBox witch is linked to my forum so when im on the chatbox under music tab i can talk to Peoples witch are on my forum and not the music tab

and i have a Music player

well what i need to find out is how do i make a Category on the html Site
witch is not linked to my forum what i need the category for is so peoples can talk about the music

is it possible or must i be linked to the forum
