Franchement... j'écris mieux l'anglais que je le parle.
I write english better than I speak it.
Nessa... Hi !
Lesson 2:
Hi = Salut
Good morning = bonjour
Good afternoon = bonjour
Good evening = Bonsoir (Say Bonne soirée when you are going to leave someone)
I would like to go to France = Je voudrais aller en France
I'm English but I live in France = Je suis anglais mais je vis en france
I'm taller than you = Je suis plus grand que toi
Non biensûr j'ai pris des phrases au hasard...

je dois dire que moi aussi, et des fois, je me demande si j'écris pas mieux anglais que Français (lacunes en grammaire Française surtout donc j'écrit comme une quiche au niveau des conjugaisons). C'est plus simple en Anglais xD
I think that me too, and sometimes, I wonder if my English is not better than my french (writing) (gaps in french grammar, especially conjugations xD). That's more simple in English xD

Re: lets all speak french
De la premier matiere:
Je suis desole a la admins et mods.
Voila c'est ici pour la deuxeme matiere, t'appelle "parler en francais" (en anglais)
Qu'est-ce que c'est? SVP
Mon Francais c'est tres mal! Ooo la la!
Hi all
I just have a question regarding the French language. Ok, in french, please is s'il vous plait, right? Well I was on homestay with a friend in a french country and I said s'il vous plait to my friend when asking for something (his french is better than mine by far) and he said its "tu" not "vous"... affraid meaning it should've been "s'il tu plait" which just sound weird..
Now, is there a rule regarding the use of s'il vous plait and s'il tu plait? I'm confused
Thankyou

Re: lets all speak french
Pourquoi voulez vous apprendre le francais? Le francais a trop de regles et est trop compliquer. Garder l'anglais. Moi j'ai du apprendre l'anglais. C'est bien plus facile a apprendre. Remarque, je peut lire en francais, puis en anglais, puis en francais, puis en anglais. Je ne m'en rend pas compte quand je lit et ecrit en francasi ou en anglais. Si quelqu'un veut me citer et me traduire, faite le, je suis paresseux.

Lazy people beware, here we appreciate posts translated so as everyone can follow
Mr X:
In the french (and other) language, there's the politeness form
Tu => You (singular)
Vous => You (plural)
S'il te plait => Please, normal way, for "normal" people: friends
S'il vous plait => Please, polite way, for elder people, people who you respect (or are forced too ) and people you don't know very well

Re: lets all speak french
Le français est une très belle langue >< Mais il faudrait qu'on m'explique comment, en ayant des lacunes en grammaire on n'arrive pas à conjuguer lol La syntaxe et la conjugaison, ce n'est pas la même chose
French is a nice language >< But it would be cool if you explain me how, having gaps in grammar, we can't conjugate ! lol Syntax and conjugation aren't the same
(Sorry if my english is bad... ^^")

I understand, I am french and I have a difficulty with my french for the reason the french has to much exception in grammar,vocabular,verbs,etc.

Re: lets all speak french
Bonsoir,
Caihlem, en français, après un "q", tu dois toujours mettre un "u". Par exemple : que, quoi, quartier.
Caihlem, in french, after the letter "q", you always have to add the letter "u". For example : que, quoi, quartier.
Passez une belle soirée (have a good evening)
Maxime
