Re: Photography, What Camera do you have?
Right now I'm using a Canon PowerShot A720 and a Canon EOS Digital Rebel Xt. I must say, Canon make some very good cameras lol
The A720 is a nice compromise between portability and features, but it has such a long flash recycle.

Re: Photography, What Camera do you have?
I wouldn't be without my Canon Eos 20D digital SLR with a good range of lenses. If I could afford to, I'd upgrade to the 15 megapixel 50D.

Olympus Evolt E510 for wildlife photography/backpacking
Canon SD1100 ELPH with canon underwater housing for dive photography
Kodak Brownie box cam for that retro look with certain B&W photos

I have a Kodak Easyshare C813. Yes it's one of the smaller ones, but it has great qualities. (:

Re: Photography, What Camera do you have?
I was trying to click some moon pictures, but i was unable to set the correct exposure & ISO Settings etc. I tried to use the settings that were provided on some website, but still i am unhappy with the result.
Does anyone of you have any inputs?
I am using a Nikon D60 with AF Zoom-NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4-5.6G

It's been a long time since I've been on this forum.
4 years into Photography and I upgraded my Canon XSi to the Canon 5D Mark II. Haha.
I'm actually into photography a lot these past years. (As a hobby, don't think I can make a living off of photography, planning on working in the medical field.)
I already spent thousands of dollars on my camera, lens and camera equipment.

Re: Photography, What Camera do you have?
Hey!
I have only just started in photography so I didn't go all out when buying a camera. I'm currently using a Fuji S200EXR and tbh, I think this camera is amazing. I have a friend near by and she has a DSLR that she bought last year (I can't remember the name of it) but the s200exr takes far better pictures. At first I thought you couldn't get any extra lenses for it as it already has a very good lens attached to it that cannot be removed. But after a short while looking, I have found many types of lens including telephoto!
I would highly recommend this camera to a first time buyer or even some one that is looking to upgrade from an old DSLR.
12.0 million pixels
Fujinon 14.3x optical zoom lens, F2.8 (Wide) - F5.3 (Telephoto)
f=7.1 - 101.5mm, equivalent to 30.5 - 436mm on a 35mm camera
And no, I'm not from "LetsGoDigital" trying to advertise, I just stole their images

Re: Photography, What Camera do you have?
We all know Canon and Nikon are the best and that no other company can even compare them. They are the mother of all dSLR and cameras.

Re: Photography, What Camera do you have?
I'm really interested in older cameras. I have a russian Zenith E and Leica from ca. 1930s - it's a real rarity and really exciting to take pictures with.

Re: Photography, What Camera do you have?
I've got a Canon 400D here at the moment, but looking to downsize to an Ixus 300 - I love having the SLR, but I'd probably end up getting more use from the compact.

Thats not true.
Canon & Nikon are anytime better than Sony.
Canon tops the list, with it being better than Nikon as well. I am saying that as i have a Nikon D60. I used my friends Canon EOS 1000D, its way better.

The only proper advantage Sony has over the latter is the fact that Sony's a big name in many areas at once. Fact is though you can hardly beat dedicated specialists
Personally, I've recently got an Olympus E-450, and I'm more than satisfied with it
