Is anyone in here interested in Photography?
I've been doing Photography for like a month now and I've created some
pretty sweet stock images. Great for photoshopping too. lol.

I love it...I literally take it everywhere with me. The picture quality is great and I just got a new SD card so now I can film for up to 4 hours in 1080p.

I would like to inform that I've upgraded my gears.

I have free lens rentals, so it's basically free for me to rent any lens. *ooo heaven*

New gears:
Canon 5D Mark II

Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 IS USM
Tamron 10-22mm f/3.5-f/4.5

Maybe I'll post some pics gallery on here soon for you to see how good I've been for the past 2 years or so.

This is a very nice and easy to use digital camera.
I have had no problems with it.
I have own this camera for about three months.

I like taking pictures. I wouldn't call myself a photogropher tho.
I've got several cameras that I've managed to collect over the years.

Vivitar Vivicam 8400 is my main still camera. For $20 from a friend, it's been great

I have a JVC Evario camcorder that I think takes rather nice stills as well. I love the video quality of it too.

It seems to me that everyone is now using the iPhone and Android app, "Instagram" to do all their photography works now.
What do you guys think about it compared to a regular dSLR?

I don't have any pro cameras, I just use a simple cannon powershot.

I think both are totally different things. Instagram is just to edit the pictures in a different tone alltogether, which is more like photoshop.
Can't really compare it to a DSLR.

Canon Powershot is a nice camera, one of my friends used to click some really nice pictures with it.

5DMKII, would like to upgrade but I'm not sure it's worth it.

I only have a Canon 500D slr camera which is not actually mine but my dad's but I use it anyway because I have yet to save up enough money to buy my own.

His camera is pretty simplistic and it has its basic lens but my dad keeps telling me that it's not so much about the camera but the photographer himself. So yeah, I'm trying to make the best out of his gears for a while, as I save for mine.

I only use point and shoot camera since I don’t know how to DSLR. But I love to learn how to shoot professional looking photos. 

I have Canon 60D with EF 50mm f1.8 aka plastic fantastic, Sigma 70-300 APO DG, Canon EF 55-105 (old one but good), and kit 18-55 IS II but af is not working on that one...

Also I have some old Manfrotto tripod (190 NAT2)

I just wanted to share this technique with any of you who are new to photography. You can stretch a piece of fine nylon mesh over the lens and secure it with a rubber band. It will give the photo a soft-focus effect. I only take pictures with my phone now, and my only "real" camera was a Yashica Electro 35 GSN. I got as far as learning how to process film and make slides. My avatar is an expanded screenshot of a picture I took a few mornings ago.
