Admins

We have just added another Admin to our forum and was wondering
if we could still have our own section?

Me and the other admin currently have our own section that only
we can see and would like to keep it this way.

Is it possible to add them as admin and only us 2 have access to our section?

Yea you can, You can make another group, and add you and your friend, and make your own forum then edit the groups permission so only you two can see the forum...

The other admin would still see it though...

You can try creating a whole other forum...

Actually I think there is a way. Make 2 hidden groups. Make one for this admin and then change the permissions so he can't access or see the forum and can not edit usergroups.

Then make agroup for you and your friend and make the permissions where you can access it

P.S : you may need to also name the one admins group "administrators" so they would think that they are in the regulat group.

ALSO : change the colors of the group towhere it looks like your ALL 3 admins.

OR..... just make a group for you and your friend and the group be for "Forum OWners"

but when you make another group they cant access the admin panel
and help out with the forum?

It is not possible but I wish it could be possible.

This is not possible at all if you add the member to the admin ranks and he/she has the admin page then they can see all the site and settings in the site so NO you can't sorry make a chat room or a new site and just don't give your other admin the link that is the best bit

When you are an admin, you get to see all categorys on the forum even if they are hidden.
