Meta tag for google

hey guys i have tryed to put the meta tag google has gave me but still comes up

Verification status: NOT VERIFIED

i have searched this forum and tryed removing the " but still dont work just dont know what to do now

have you click on the publish icon at the template?

your code from google looks something like:

go to: display/homepage/generalities/additional tags
click the green "+"
click the "submit" for "create a meta tag type"
add the verify-v1 from the code where it says "name attribute" in admin panel
add the 7HxiVy6zOg23465462464GorJN8zBqM3aj9VD5dXI= where it says "content attribute"

notice that you don't use the " " when adding the attributes.

click ADD and go to webmaster to verify.

Well, after trying to get this to work, I did it.
RedRaw you were right.

add the 7HxiVy6zOg23465462464GorJN8zBqM3aj9VD5dXI= where it says "content attribute"
