Need Help unlocking Forum

I started a Forum the other day and I did everything a tutorial said on how to unlock your forum but it is still locked. Does anyone have any ideas on what the problem could be?

Okay, i am not sure whether your total forum is locked or just a single forum.

For the whole forum,

For a single forum,
General>Categories & forums
Click on that forum which you want to unlock
Forum status : Make it unlocked, hit save.

Also, if all of this does not sort your problem. Give some more information as to what you get.

Ok I did all of that but it still says at the bottom of my forum that it is still locked. It has the red circle with the black x next to forum is locked.

For a single forum,
General>Categories & forums
Click on that forum which you want to unlock
Forum status : Make it unlocked, hit save.

You need to do all this for all the forums, which you feel are locked.

Can you post a screenshot of the bottom of your forum that you feel is still locked

Ok when I went to check to make sure that my forum wasn't under construction or holiday it said this.

The administrator of this forum is processing a maintenance. You can't access this forum for the moment. <BR><BR>For more details, contact the administrator of this forum.

Could that be what the problem is and if that is how do I fix that.
