Log in first before accessing the homepage - how can you do that?

I need help. I want my log in page to appear first before doing allowing anybody doing anything. Is there a way to do that?

Also, I want to lock the homepage, the portal, everything when guest come and visit our forum. I want it to only show the log in page only and ban the other people from accessing my homepage and my portal. is there a way to do that?

Hi, your title being non explicit and therefore not facilitating research via the search option, I'm not answering (nor is any other member) until you change your title for an explicit one, related to your problem so that other can search for their question and get the help they need.

but i saw a forum that only allows you to log in and then you can visit the homepage and things like that

i think your find that you can hide all the forumsd untill your users have made an account this can be done by going to admin page forums then clicking on * Forum Permissions Control

then mark all the forums as members only that will show a log in bit to your forums and no other Hope this is what your looking for if not im Sorry but im lost
