Banning IP

how do u ban IPs?

admin panel>users & groups>ban cotrol>then put the IP address that you want to ban in the "Ban one or more IP addresses or hostnames" area> then save it. there, it should banned that ip forever.

Note: You can't remove a member's IP address from the banning ip area...

So, you can't unban that IP again?

yes you should be able to lift the ban on the ip and the member.
just go to the members profile in the acp and lift the ban there.
that should automatically take out the ip ban as well.

I know you can remove the IP address, and re-add it if need be

so, when u have an IP address' in the ip banned list; click on the IP number and then click on the "save" button and then it will be removed.
