2 Forum Questions

On Forumotion's portal, they have a forum in their portal, how do they do that?
Also, when users have an unread message on a forum in this forum, there is a line that leads to an envelope that says new. How do I get that?

Yeah, I seen that. It looks pretty cool. I'm getting they done it by the widgets for the Portal, though. Try right clicking on the forum you want to be on your portal, click on 'View Source', get code, and paste it in the white box for creating a widget. Not sure if it'll work, though. Just a guess.

That's because they are probably in a different directory to the code.

sanket won't help you , he is not the grand master trickster on forumotion...
this is where I come in. Razz

the portal block is a custom one.
It is a simple table that is styled like the forum... no magic there... they didn't even create there own class stylesheet, they just used the default ones from the main CSS.

if you can to create your own you will need to know a bit of html and create a stylized table ...
its a table with link, styled to look like the forum

your second question.
on the support forum you only see text in the nav bar... the only image they have is the new message icon... it appears only when a new pm arrives...

to get something similar you have to have only text in your nav bar...
then go to your picture management and add an image for the new message.
after that go to headers and navigation and set it so not only images are displayed in the navbar
