Xat chatbox in bottom

Hi there

We have a Xat chatbox on our forum, but we can't find out how to put it in the buttom of the indexpage insted of the top

We put the code in here - Display -> Homepage -> Generalities -> Homepage message

can anybody help with that?

To add the chat box to the bottom, Go to Admin CP > Display > Click 'General' under 'Templates'.
Click 'Modify' button of overall_footer.
Find this part in the code...

Code:

         <!-- close div id=&quot;page-body&quot; -->
         <div id="page-footer">
            <div align="center">

Right after that, put the chatbox code, click save.
Don't forget to hit the'+' button after saving to make it work.

Allmost perfekt

it put the chat in the bottom of the page, but now it's also visible om the login page

i would prefere only to have the chatbox visible when you are logged in

can the be done?

There is a way to do it.
You can create a forum, which is only visible to members.
Put the chatbox code in the forum description.

It should work.

maybe I don't undestandt it right

coz the forum we have now i only visible to members... and the chat is too as long as it put here

when i put it in the code like you said, it appers on the login page too

what if i want the chatbox just over the statusbar (Display list of connected members during last 24, ect) - would that solve it?

I mean to say, create a new forum under a new category below all your forums. (Admin CP > General > Categories & Forums)

Put chatbox code in the description on the new forum and set permission so that only members can see that forum.
