Security Issues

I seem to be having security issues. The forum seems to have been hacked into several times in the past few months. After the first incident I was unable to log into this forum. I have repeatedly asked for my password, without success. I finally just re-registered so that I could contact someone about this issue.

There are only two of us that have admin rights. No one else has more than mod rights.

After the first incident, no one could log on. I could only log on as admin. I found that all group permissions had been removed.

The next time, all the important forums were removed. I was unable to use the back-ups to restore the forum. Finally I just began manually rebuilding the forums, and many threads randomly showed up in various places. Some of the members had been deleted, and had to re-register.

Then a new group was made in the CP and the person had Admin rights.

A couple of days ago I couldn't log on again.

I finally did get back in, but I would like to understand what is happening.
