Solved Picture Quality Very Poor

Post by saathoff December 23rd 2009, 7:56 am

Im one of the admins at www.aoin.darkbb.com. In that last month or so be and other admins have noticed that quality of our members pictures are greatly decreased Picture Quality Very Poor 306531. Most pictures are fuzzy or blurred. We wondering what could possible be the problem? We looked at www.simsports.darkbb.com, a sister forum to ours and there quality is 100% fine. What could the problem be?

Thanks,

Saathoff

Bold and Color are reserved for moderation, like this, so please keep to the default font

Did you put any image resize?
General>Messages and Emails>configuration
Images resize :

If not, then it has to do with members uploading the pictures. Nothing related to the forum.

Okay i went back and looked. We had no settings for Images Resize. I understand it could be the members. But It's happening to ever member. Even me. Ill have something high quality and ill preview the picture link and it look perfectly fine. Then post on our forum and the quality goes down majorly. Thats what has me and my other 2 admins confused

i would just use click-able thumb nails.

Honestly i really do not see what the problem is some image host can be different then others. but the best way would be to use a click-able thumb then when they click on it they will see full screen and in the correct clarity.

not sure about this one? it used to be large image host but is this now?
