Recording IP? Empty Recording IP?

Post by JessicaInfinite April 4th 2010, 8:14 pm

I was wondering if there's any way to record new members IP's when they first sign up?

why would you want to do that?

Anyway you could always go on the banning ip feature and get their ip.

To help cut down on people coming onto the site using proxies, like previously banned members.

I had someone join my forum, and make offensive threads/posts. This person has used a proxie, because his ip number is almost the same as mine... with the ending numbers slightly different. When you click on their ip to pull up their information it is the same as mine!!! I would like to know how this was done :|

IP's can get close to each other. Nothing can be done about it.
