Admin locked out of own forum help!!
I have had alot of issues with my facebook aps.. suddenly today they started working again. but at the same time it logged me out of my forum, I tried logging back in with the facebook connect but it only started a new member account. I logged out that account and kept trying to log in as admin and nothing. it says its an invalid account.. how can an admin be invalid? I was able to get here by clicking on the forum link. and was able to log in here, but not at my own account.. help.. I cant get to my admin. panel!!!
Re: Admin locked out of own forum help!!
Thats the wierd part, its the user name that the log in has a problem with, I even changed my password, but it still says invalid account.
Re: Admin locked out of own forum help!!
I decided since I have alot of work to do still on the forum.. and still can't access it.. I would try doing the lost password that is part of the log in directly.. I hope maybe a new password will finally show up at my email so I can try and access it. befor I screw anything else up.. trying. but nothing has come yet. I will keep you posted if it does.
Re: Admin locked out of own forum help!!
well that didn't work, it only gave me a new password for the new member account that facebook created... I cancelled that account out. I am still not able to use it.

thank you very much Sanket. I am greatful for any help.. I am a noob to this. This is my first and only forum. I never had a chance to get the facebook connect completely set up before it started changing.. and I havn't made any new changes to its set up until after the forum admin was disabled. Which is why I thought I needed to take a closer look. I could greatly use some feedback from people who know what they are doing.
Same here...kinda
This is the seconf account I had to create, at least this one let's me in I'm locked out as well BUT I didn't dforget my password! i do have my forum set up that if you aren't active after so long, your account would be disabled.......I had no idea it would disable ME as well! LOL Is this what happens? Because I know for a fact my password is correct.

Re: Admin locked out of own forum help!!
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! Typlo finally sent me a new password, and my admin is back! yay! so how do I keep this from happening again.. Is there a better way to link my admin profile with facebook.. again.. since it was severed. that way if I click on facebook connect to log in it doesn't register a new account.. over my admin one?

Could've been a bug.
